What We Do
Vox Pop offers a wide variety of workshops throughout the year for youth enrolled in our program. In addition, community organizations and other entities can hire Vox Pop to put on a specific workshop for their organization.
Mission
Our mission is to provide access to both marketable technical skills and media literacy in order to prepare underserved youth, ages 15-18, for a career or further education in the production and creation of media and/or related fields of interest in the growing global media culture.
Contribute
Vox Pop truly understands the saying “It takes a village to raise a child.” Donate your time, host an event, lead a workshop, give to Vox Pop. We appreciate all you have to offer!

Everything and everybody aren’t always what they seem. In this short film made by Vita Nova youth in a Vox Pop workshop the filmmakers challenge the idea that you can judge a “book” by its cover. They only had about eighteen hours to plan, learn how to use the equipment, film, and edit!
Portfolio
At Vox Pop, youth experiment with producing a wide variety of media-based projects including short films, photographs, blogs, web design, graphic art, and animation. Check out our collection of youth-produced media from Vox Pop’s programs and workshops.
